I caught the “restoring and old house” bug early on in life and I know it’s an affliction that a lot of other people have too.
So that’s the simple truth of the matter. Our Fall decorations outside are just the same as everyone else’s around here.
And that’s just fine with me!This is another craft I did with Kennedy last week when her school was closed for a teacher development day.I’ve actually tried different versions of this idea a few times, but they’ve never worked. Not this time though, this one actually works!.
We started out with a basic air-dry clay recipe.I used a cornstarch based one and it worked like a charm!.
1/2 cup cornstarch.
1 1/2 cups salt. The thing is, any time that I’ve needed one installed, I’ve always asked Chris to do it.
And he’s always kind of taken a long time to get to it.And then there’s always all the cursing that goes on whenever he does a project like this.
So it’s given me the impression that changing a light fixture is kind of a difficult thing to do that requires some skill and finesse..Listen up all you finess-less folks!
